Downloads
Psoriasis is a chronic inflammatory disease, characterized by erythematous scaly plaques. The objective of the present study was to characterize epidemiologically, clinically and therapeutically adult patients with psoriasis who attended the Dermatology outpatient clinic at the San Juan de Dios General Hospital in the period from 2019 to 2024. Of 128 psoriasis records, 59.37% of the data corresponds to the female sex, with an average age of 52 years. The Metropolitan region predominated with 65.62%. The vulgar type of psoriasis represented 82.81%, the 21.09% presented cardiovascular disease. 49.22% used combined therapy with topical and systemic treatment.
